About Me
Passionate about policies, international security and human rights, Anna is currently building up her credentials at Stanford University, Ford Dorsey Master's in International Policy (MIP) with a full two-year fellowship from the Asia Pacific Scholars Fund. She specializes in strategy, policy and governance of digital technologies and their implications on international security.
In complementary with her degree, she interned at Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence, completed IBM’s Applied AI Professional Certificate, and interned at the United Nations’ Executive Office of the Secretary-General where she worked on policy and governance initiatives for frontier technologies and strategic foresight.
Anna was previously part of the Management Consulting practice in Accenture Asia-Pacific (headquarter in Singapore), specialised in digital transformation, the Internet of Things, technology strategy and innovation. She had three years of consulting experience for multinational corporations around Asia in various industries. Her professional exposure included Latin America, North America and Europe. She consistently received commendations for her professionalism and outstanding execution. She also had two years of work-and-travel experience as a digital nomad through Latin America and Europe. She speaks four languages English, Spanish, Chinese Mandarin and Vietnamese.

• Support the Secretary-General with strategic analysis, priority-setting, planning, risk management and strategic alignment of plans and resources.
• Coordinate the formulation of strategies, programs and policies on UN system-wide / cross-cutting needs, priorities, resources, risks and performance. Monitor, identify, analyze geographic, political and thematic global trends.
• Policy and strategic advice on the multilateral implications of frontier technologies including artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, aerospace, and cyber-technology.
• High-level Panel on Digital Cooperation: support the strategic planning, discussion, execution roadmap, and partnership between the United Nations and member states, private sectors and civil society

Policy Internship ( Jun 2020 – Sep 2020)
• Research on Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) governance and policies by international and national regulatory bodies, key stakeholders map, and literature review

• Client is an integrated oil and gas company, presence in 35 countries, one of the Fortune Global 500.
• Worked with client’s Chief Digital Officer on digital transformation throughout the value chain, from the upstream well to the end consumers. Acted as subject matter expert for gamification, UI/UX app and web design. Led next-generation communication development. Developed gamification elements and training curriculum.
2) Digital Supply Chain for a Major Forestry & Agriculture MNC, Headquarter in Indonesia
• Client is one of the largest makers of pulp and paper products, presence in more than 70 countries.
• Led the development of the management dashboard from end-to-end: designed, developed and tested. Facilitated collaboration between different workstream. Lead a dynamic team of more than 15 people at global locations. Managed relationships with client’s senior management and key business users.
3) Digitisation of Operations Value Chain for a Global Utilities Client, HQ in Singapore
• Client is a leading energy, water and marine group, with total assets of S$20 billion and over 7,000 employees
• Successfully implemented change management across stakeholder groups: C-suite, senior management committee, project team to plant operators and engineers. Designed and coordinated effective communication to all stakeholders.
4) The Internet of Things Centre of Excellence (co-innovation between Accenture and the Singapore Economic Development Board)
• Presented business solutions to clients’ C-suite and senior executives, resulting in business deals amounting to millions of USD
• Developed specialty in various digital domains including next-gen training and education, wearables technologies, AR/VR, analytics. Architected go-to-market solutions. Lead successful initiatives: open innovation session, Thought Leadership, latest development and business directions.

Amazing course on what I call the critical survival skills for the Digital Age, internet research using free and publicly available information: domain investigations, social media research, strategies for geolocation and chrono-location (placing videos or images at a point in time), image verification, airplanes and ship tracking, and research on individuals. We learned to use these skills to dig deep and unveil illegal activities, expose corrupted government officials, aid human rights activists fighting against human traffickers, expose foreign inauthentic coordinated campaigns on social media, etc.
